We often assume we don't possess the power to rise to the occasion. We think we can't do the impossible. We doubt our inner-strength. Over the course of our lives, we will more than likely be confronted with a moment which flies in the face of our assumptions. In these moments, we either fly or fight. When we fight, we prove ourselves wrong and do extraordinary things. "Sully" is a film about a man who did more than save a plane full of people. It is a film about a man rising to meet his moment. As he did, we are allowed a rare opportunity; a chance to see ourselves and envision what we are truly capable of when our backs are against the wall and the opposing side of the canyon jump seems too far. My guess is we are all quite capable, if only for a second we could summon an insane amount of courage and let our wings free.
Be good to each other,
