I have been watching "Austin City Limits" my whole life. In fact, some of my favorite memories center around my grandmother's house, ACL, and learning about legendary country acts and up-and-coming bands. As I have grown older, it has become even more important. With the death of MTV and VH1's music programming, there isn't a place to turn to learn about new music on your television. Sure, talk shows feature a band almost nightly, but nothing that compares to ACL. Which is why I wanted to see this documentary so badly. It pulled back the curtain on an American staple and in the process revealed how the Wizard of OZ (the ACL staff) continue to make music/television magic season after season.
Be good to each other,
