"The Jungle Book" was cinematically beautiful, intriguing, and well adapted. Which, to be honest, was surprising to me. I entered the theatre expecting to be disappointed. I assumed this adaption would ruin one of my all-time favorite Disney movies. Within the first 10 minutes of the film, I knew my expectations would not be met. As the animals conversed and the scenery exploded in shades of green, I was left in awe. As scenes I memorized from my childhood played out before me, my heart filled with joy and fondness for the hours spent with my brothers watching the original cartoon version. When the lights lifted and we exited the theatre, I thought to myself, “This is how adaptations should be done.”
Be good to each other,
