As I search this world
For who I should be
Looking for something new completely
I’ll keep writing
Despite my resentment
On having to be an adult
Knowing growing up is the final result
I’ll keep writing
When my mind feels messy
And my heart hurts
And it seems more trouble than it’s worth
I’ll keep writing
When the world gets lonely
And I feel like no one understands
And all I have are God’s open hands
I’ll keep writing
Setting off on my next adventure
And seeing what all the world can offer
Like a tea cup waiting to be drank on its saucer
I’ll keep writing
No matter what I have yet to discover
Or what is left to endure
There’s one thing I’ll always know for sure
I’ll keep writing
