The plot to "Mad Max: Fury Road" was about as enthralling as a bomb ridden trip from Seattle to Tacoma and back again. I spent most of this movie in two separate states. The first had me asking myself over and over again, "What is happening?" The second was a state of wonder and awe. The movie is beautiful and the cinematography is Oscar worthy. The story is the ugly part. For two violent hours, we are forced to watch people drive to a point and then drive back to where they originated. No character explains why they are running. No villain explains why they are chasing. We are left to fill too many holes all the while trying to muster the strength to care.
Thanks for entering my world,
