Somewhere between "Traffic" and FX's "The Bridge" is the intensity of "Sicario;" a film balancing drugs, liberty and security. Comparing this film to such an amazing movie and television show is a high compliment in my book. All three place a microscope over the United States' relationship with Mexico and the war on drugs. "Sicario" differentiates itself by focusing on the gray legality of the never-ending fight. By the time the credits roll, you will be left questioning and debating in your own head the price we pay for our liberty in order to feel secure. As you are well aware, this discussion doesn't arrive at easy answers and neither does this film. For this reason precisely, it is worth the price of admission.
Be good to each other,
