"Everest" is a heartbreaking and beautiful piece of cinema about the eternal struggle between man and nature. Throughout human history, we’ve looked at the daunting height of Everest, the incredible depths of the Pacific, or trails connecting continents as something to be conquered. It is in our nature to desire such things. These conquests are filled with tremendous beauty, but they are also consumed with unbelievable danger. This film perfectly captures the balance between respect and our innate desire to force the land to bend toward our will. As the credits roll, we are yet again confronted with the reality that nature never gives up easily.
Be good to each other,
