Journaling April 2021

4/28/21

Today is my final day of commuting back and forth from Lake Stevens to West Seattle. I cannot wait to get an hour of my life back!

4/27/21

I have survived the worst of the COVID-19 vaccine. It was touch and go there for a moment.

4/26/21

Yesterday, I received my second COVID-19 vaccine. While I am grateful for this miracle of modern science, I do feel achy and as if I ran the Seattle marathon this morning.

4/23/21

One week from now, we will be in a home of our own.

4/22/21

The concept of home has never been more important to me.

4/21/21

Very soon, I will be in a place of my own with my future husband. I am having a tough time containing my excitement.

4/20/21

A romantic relationship can’t spend too much time focusing on just the serious stuff.

4/19/21

Yesterday was one of the best days Brandon and I have shared in a really long time. As we shopped for furniture and talked about building a home together, I felt absolutely loved.

4/14/21

I will move again. It is in my nature.

4/13/21

An apology is freeing.

4/12/21

Keeping a relationship is the hardest task of my life.

4/9/21

I deeply miss Los Angeles.

4/8/21

I have no friends in Seattle.

4/7/21

I bought furniture yesterday for our new apartment. Please excuse my smugness for the rest of the day.

4/6/21

I hate most of what I read on Twitter, yet I keep coming back. What does that say about me?

4/5/21

Leaving Los Angeles was an act of selflessness.

4/2/21

Who gets to speak baffles me.

Be good to each other,

Nathan
