At the center of every album, is a musical thesis. On "Why Are You Okay," Band of Horses are coming to terms with adulthood and all it encompasses. From children to partners, the core of our adult years is about the depth of relationships with those whom we love and surround ourselves. From time to time, those relationships and our daily routines need to hit refresh. The ultimate question that is attempted here is whether that is possible with so many people depending on you. It isn't easy to answer and BOH don't do it here, but the questions, pondering, and lessons learned are worth the effort.
