As a lover of movies, I know I am supposed to loathe sequels. Most of the time, I prove critics right and passionately hate Hollywood's lack of imagination and willingness to pump out reimagined garbage. Then there are times when my views fly in the face of what everyone else is saying. This is just another reason I go to the movies and see films like "Bad Santa 2." Maybe it was my mood. Maybe I needed a laugh. Maybe I needed to be offended in the most glorious way, but this movie hit all the right buttons for me. Ultimately, the film is still about a heist, double-crossing criminals, and foul language, but you soon learn that every character you fell in love with has more to say. This is where most sequels fail. They implode upon themselves with the expectations of somehow striking gold twice. "Bad Santa 2" didn't fall for this trap. Instead, it comes with original jokes and lines that will leave you howling in the movie theater.
